I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of a dinosaur. My teenage daughter thinks that dinosaurs are infinitely cool, so I’m actually good with my status.
But also…
Dinosaurs are mysterious. We know they existed, and we think we know what they ate, how they lived, how they moved…but then again, every few years we uncover new information that contradicts what we thought we knew. Just like me, changing it up all the time.
Dinosaurs come in all sizes. Some were massive, some were as small as rodents. I’ve been different sizes too in my life (well, never massive).
Dinosaurs were around a long time ago. Me too! I used a word processor in college, not a laptop. Remember word processors? No, of course you don’t. You could probably Google it.
Dinosaurs didn’t have very big brains.
Some dinosaurs are believed to have shed their skins. Me too (figuratively). I love to reinvent myself every few years, building a varied career across many industries, and finding new hobbies that force me out of my comfort zone.
Dinosaurs are often saddled with long names that are hard to spell and pronounce. My maiden name is Taormina, guess it could have been worse…Taorminasaurus?
